This crane system is perfect for use on sites where space is at an absolute premium, where several cranes are working side-by-side or for work on extra-tall buildings. The HC-L cranes have a small slewing radius and can therefore be easily maneuvered around obstacles. The jib can be parked at a raised angle of between 15° - 75°. The crane series range from 80 tm to 800 tm.
Due to the Liebherr modular system, the HC-L cranes can be combined with the undercarriages, cruciform, tower sections and climbing system of the HC series, or with the new IC (Internal Climbing Tower) climbing system. The IC tower system is available for the cranes from 160 tm to 380 tm. The tower has a cross-section of 1,9 m, and so it is particularly suitable for operating in narrow shafts or sandlots.
