The series offer cranes of sizes, which previously required transport in dismantled conditions. 26 K and 45 K cranes have a telescopic tower of enclosed sections. Consequently, the 26 K cranes offer variety of hook heights ranging from 11,2 m to 20 m; the 45 K cranes have the hook heights as follows: 15,3 m, 22,2 m, and 26 m with the jib horizontal. When the jib is raised, the 45 K cranes can reach the hook height of 38,5 m.
Fast-erecting cranes from 43 tm to 120 tm have a telescopic panel tower of enclosed tight-welded sections and climbing equipment. The rapid climbing system enables the tower sections to be inserted from below easily and quickly as complete tower’s parts. Thus, the cranes have more hook heights and are particularly adaptable. For example, the 71 K crane can reach over 10 hook heights with the jib horizontal.
The versatility of these fast-erecting cranes is greatly enhanced by the standard 45° clearance jib position for the outer jib section. With a suspended load, the jib can be moved from the control panel so that, should there be an obstruction on site, the front jib section is simply raised and slewed past it.
As complete erectable units, the fast-erecting cranes are transported either as truck trailers or on semi-trailers on highways, always together with the longest jib. The crane erecting procedure is simple, quick, and is carried out from ground.
The jib-in-air assembly in the scope of 360° is realized without any contact with the ground.
Liebherr fast-erecting cranes provide a great degree of mobility and are highly maneuverable. They are really progressive in the process of transit, setting a crane on rail tracks or on a stationary undercarriage, ballasting, air assembly, handling and operating.

The K cranes supply especial profit with the EDC device – a crane slewing gear with optional lifting drive with frequency converter. The cranes with rating from 45 tm can be equipped as desired with the SPS control system and a frequency converter for crab travel and crane travel on rail tracks. The 71 K crane disposes of a serial complete electronic outfit.
