If however a tower crane has to be used under a dome or on sites with an overlying or overlapping structure with additional obstacles within the slewing range, Liebherr can supply the HC-T crane system. These cranes have a telescopic jib with a fixed and moving jib section, enabling the lower telescopic jib to be extended and retracted. Thus, the maximum jib length can be reduced almost by half. The jib extension can take place continuously and under load. The trolley can be moved at the same time.
